Welcome from President Pamela Trotman Reid

The University of Saint Joseph provides its students with engaging courses of study and relevant career skills rooted in a tradition of academic excellence and community service that reaches back to its founders, the Sisters of Mercy.  For 80 years, our students have been challenged and encouraged by talented faculty. They graduate as accomplished scholars and thoughtful leaders who are well respected within their fields.

We offer a wide variety of academic programs that serve students at different stages of their lives and careers. These include undergraduate majors for women and through the coeducational  Program for Adult Learners; master's degrees offered at our main campus, at off-campus sites throughout Connecticut, and online; professional doctoral degrees; certificate programs; and The School for Young Children and the Gengras Center.  Our beautiful Olmsted-designed campus provides an array of cultural events, occasions for spiritual development, and fitness and recreational options.  The University also has an active presence outside its campus, reaching into the surrounding community through internships, community service projects, new programs and partnerships.

At the University of Saint Joseph we meet the needs of an ever-changing world through scholarship and service, while remaining faithful to our Mercy values.  We welcome you to join us.
