If you wish to submit a flyer, please email postings@usj.edu with your document attached. The body of the email must include your name, home address, phone number and email. This is for security purposes only and will not be disclosed to students.

The posting itself should include the following:

  • Position Title
  • Position Description
  • Pay
  • Skills needed or qualifications (if any)
  • Important dates or information
  • Contact Information

All off-campus employment opportunities are provided as courtesy only and are not in any way affiliated with the University of Saint Joseph. All hiring and compensation for work performed by student employees is handled directly between the student and employer.

The Student Affairs Office reserves the right to refuse to post jobs that do not support the interests of the university. We will not post jobs that appear to discriminate against applicants on the basis of race, color, religion, national origin, age, gender, sexual orientation, veteran status, marital status, or mental or physical disability.

The University of Saint Joseph does not perform background checks on students applying for jobs, nor on employers posting job opportunities. Therefore, students and employers are urged to request reference information from each other to establish credentials and overall fit between the employer and job applicant.

Students who decide to accept off-campus employment must note that Financial Aid will not be affected by this decision. Additionally, an off-campus position does not count within the 19 hour limit that students can work at the university each week. For additional information regarding this disclaimer, please contact the USJ Student Affairs Office at 860.231.5267 or by email at postings@usj.edu.
