After completing her Doctor of Pharmacy degree at the Massachusetts College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences in 2008, Dr. Corinne Ewing moved to Rhode Island to pursue a PGY-1 Community Practice Residency at CVS Caremark. She continued her employment with CVS/pharmacy in Massachusetts after the one-year residency program. In 2010, Dr. Ewing moved to Florida and advanced in her career as a Pharmacy Department Manager. In this role, she was involved in maintaining regulatory compliance in the pharmacy, provision of immunization services, as well as pharmacy staff management and development. Dr. Ewing has worked with pharmacy student interns throughout her career and has always valued the experience of teaching and training new community pharmacists.
Dr. Ewing is focused on helping student pharmacists to develop the patient-centered skills they will need in community practice. She is dedicated to providing patients with meaningful and compassionate care in the outpatient setting and has focused in the past on building outpatient immunization programs that are both convenient and affordable to patients. Dr. Ewing hopes to help students recognize the value that caring and conscientious community pharmacists can bring to their patients.
