Learn more about the School for Young Children, a nationally accredited preschool and summer camp program.

Founded in 1936, the School for Young Children was one of the first preschools in the state and one of the first student laboratory programs in the nation.

The school serves 180 children a year and up to 110 children each day. It also serves as a training program for college students pursuing careers in early childhood education.

The School for Young Children at the University of Saint Joseph is accredited by the National Association for the Education of Young Children.
