Access for Preceptors

Gain access to USJ’s online databases.

To access USJ’s proxy server and specialized databases in Pharmacy and Medicine, you must first establish a USJ email. Your access will begin after you initially log into your email account and change your password. 

Activate Your Email Account:

  • Access the login page
  • Type in your user name, which is usually your first initial and last name followed by (E.g.: John Parisi is [email protected])
  • If the system asks for Domain/User Name, you must type in the same first initial followed by last name followed by, followed by a backslash: \ (E.g.: [email protected]\).
  • Type in your initial password, which is usj- and the six-digit identification code you have been assigned, in this manner usj-xxxxxx.
  • You will be prompted to create a new password of your choice.

Forgot Your Password?

Your password will need to be reset. Call the IT Help Desk at 860.231.5310 and provide the information required (name, ID number, etc.).

Access USJ Databases:

  • Access is provided via a proxy server from the USJ School of Pharmacy Library homepage.
  • Select “Research”.
  • Select “Databases in Pharmacy and Medicine”.
  • Select the database of your choice.
  • You will be sent to the proxy server and prompted for your user name and password.

Your user name is the first part of your USJ email address: your first initial and last name, without the (e.g. jparisi).

Your password is the password that you established when you activated your USJ email account.
