Transfer to the University of Saint Joseph and transform your life. As a student at USJ:
- You'll receive the full value of a University of Saint Joseph education. That means outstanding academics and career opportunities.
- You'll likely be eligible for a scholarship. USJ offers a variety of scholarships for full-time transfer students.
- You'll benefit from our generous transfer credit policies. Our course equivalency agreements with Connecticut's community colleges will ease the credit-transfer process.
- You'll be guided through the transfer process. The USJ transfer team will be with you every step of the way.
Transferring to USJ is as easy as:
- Completing an application ($50.00 application fee waived if submitted online).
- Submitting official transcripts from high school and all post-secondary institutions you attended.
- Submitting an essay, letters of recommendation, and scheduling an interview (recommended, but not required).
Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis. Following acceptance, you will meet with an academic advisor to review your transfer credits and register for classes.

A transfer student must complete at lease 45 credit hours of course work at the University of Saint Joseph. A minimum of 120 hours is required to receive a baccalaureate degree for most programs. Contact your transfer counselor for the exact academic requirements of specific departments. The last 24 credits for a degree must be completed at the University of Saint Joseph.
