Mercy Day 2012: Contribute to Hartford’s Transformation
Mercy Day is an annual day of service in which the USJ community honors its Mercy values by volunteering at local organizations and events. This year’s Mercy Day of Service is September 29, 2012.
USJ is collaborating with the iQuilt Plan, a culture-based design plan for downtown Hartford, and their city-wide celebration, EnvisionFest. The goal of iQuilt is transform the downtown area into a walking destination that celebrates Hartford’s culture and innovation.
We are looking for faculty, staff, and students to volunteer at one of the many opportunities and time frames available. Visit the EnvisionFest web site (www.envisionfesthartford.com) to review the possibilities and then click on the link below to register yourself as a volunteer.
