Stanley Battle, MPH, MSW, Ph.D., Gives Keynote Address

Stanley Battle, MPH, MSW, Ph.D., founding director of the Master of Social Work program and professor of Social Work at USJ, gave the keynote address, "Stand Up Social Workers," at the 32nd annual Social Workers Stand Up Conference this past week. The conference, which was held on May 12, 2017 in Cromwell, Conn., was geared towards educating the public on the roles of social workers and addressing misconceptions about the field. Dr. Battle’s remarks focused on the profession of social work and how its contributions to society have changed over time.
