The Connecticut Hospital Association Honors USJ Trustee Judith A. Carey, RSM, Ph.D.

Sr. Judith A. Carey and Dr. Bernie LindauerCongratulations to University of Saint Joseph Trustee Judith A. Carey, RSM, Ph.D. who will receive the T. Stewart Hamilton Award from the Connecticut Hospital Association (CHA) on Wednesday, June 27th at their annual meeting. Their website describes the award as one that “recognizes an individual for outstanding contributions to Connecticut healthcare and service to CHA.” Sr. Judy has many ties to the University:  in addition to her roles as current Trustee, past Associate Professor and Chair of Special Education, and former Director of The Gengras Center, she earned her master’s degree here in 1972 and was presented with an honorary degree in 1991.
