Nominations Being Accepted for Distinguished Alumni Awards
Do you know a graduate who exemplifies the University of Saint Joseph ideals? If so, please consider nominating her or him for a Distinguished Alumni Award (DAA).
The Alumni Relations Office and Distinguished Alumni Awards Committee are seeking nominations for the 2013 slate of nominees. The DAAs are given out annually to outstanding alumni of the University.
Easy Submission Process
Nomination forms are readily available (both online and in print) and due by Friday, November 16, 2012:

DAA Award categories include:
The Mary Rosa McDonough Award:
- Achieved distinction in a professional field or has provided outstanding service to the University or local community
- Open to all alumni
The Catherine McAuley Award :
- Demonstrated leadership and service to the community
- Open to alumni who graduated in the past 15 years
The Mary DeLourdes Kenny Award :
- Achieved distinctions in the field of education

Open to alumni in the field of education
The Sister Fay O'Brien School of Education Alumni Award :
- Promote growth of the whole person in a caring environment
- Encourages strong ethical values, personal integrity and a sense of responsibility to the needs of society
- Serve the mission of the School of Education
- Open to graduate alumni from the School of Education
The Maria Ancilla Sullivan Award :
- Achieved distinction through some form of artistic expression

The Mary Consuela Mulcahy Award :
- Achieved distinction in the field of science or technology
- Open to all alumni in the fields of science or technology
Winifred E. Coleman Service Award:
- Individual or organization who demonstrates exemplary service and commitment to University of Saint Joseph
- Represents the University's Core Values

Open to members of the USJ and local community
