Hartford Marathon to Affect Access to Campus

Saturday classes take note!
Be prepared for road detours if you're traveling to and from campus on Saturday, Oct. 13, 2012, when 6,000 runners will compete in the ING Hartford Half-Marathon. The area around the main campus is expected to be affected from 8-10:30 a.m.
Drivers are urged to use Exit 46, Sisson Avenue, on Interstate 84 to West Boulevard, to Prospect Avenue, to Fern Street to Foxcroft, then take Asylum Avenue. Sections of Trout Brook Road, Albany Avenue and Steele Road near campus will be closed for the race. See the detour map (PDF: 1p., 450K) for more information.
If you are attending class at USJ on Saturday, Oct. 13, you should allow extra driving time. Students are urged to discuss their concerns with their professor or instructor.
