Associate Professor of Chemistry

Steven Goldstein, Ph.D.

Dr. Steven Goldstein’s love of science is infectious: “The more I learn about science, the more I’m fascinated by the complexity and beauty of everything around us. We live in a wonderful age, where science has an impact on our lives on a daily basis. People can change the world through an interest in science and the motivation to make something happen!”

With nearly 25 years experience as a research scientist in the pharmaceutical field, Dr. Goldstein understands the various aspects of scientific research and is committed to preparing USJ women for successful careers. He inspires students to dig deep, to experience — not just study — chemistry. ‘While some students excel in the classroom, others shine in the laboratory. Students need to find the path and learning process that they are most comfortable with. I consider it my role to provide as many opportunities as possible for the women of University of Saint Joseph to become involved in the sciences.”
