Our Mission

The USJ Marketing and Communications (OMC) team leads the University community in its marketing and communications activities. Our goal is to produce high-quality internal and external events and communications that are consistent with the USJ mission, institutional identity, positioning, and strategic priorities. Working with the University community and external leaders, we:

  • Maximize opportunities to enhance USJ visibility
  • Ensure all information is consistent with USJ design and editorial standards
  • Provide a central resource to promote all USJ divisions, Schools, departments, and programs
  • Integrate efforts between the OMC and USJ communicators to optimize creativity in design and message, as well as to improve information flow, ensuring compliance
  • Ensure USJ is efficiently leveraging its marketing and advertising investments at all levels and in all areas

Brittany is responsible for developing and implementing a comprehensive communications, marketing, and public relations program at the University of Saint Joseph. Her role involves coordinating internal and external communications, managing media relations, and overseeing advertising and marketing materials to enhance student recruitment and alumni relations. Brittany serves as the primary contact for public and media relations, providing leadership in innovative marketing strategies and ensuring compliance with the University’s branding standards.

Becca Liudzius

Becca is responsible for assisting the director in running the Marketing and Communications office, including project management, priority setting, and scheduling. As web manager, Becca maintains and updates content on USJ websites consistent with brand and performance standards to ensure positive user experiences. Becca also manages the Blue Jay Bulletin all-school communication, and participates in the creative strategy, implementation, design, and production of materials that reflect and advance the mission and image of USJ.

Chase designs and produces various print, digital, and other media for internal and external audiences. He develops, refines, and manages USJ’s brand across all channels, including website, print, and digital communications. He ensures all materials reflect and advance the mission and image of the University of Saint Joseph, and that they meet visual and brand design standards.

Maddie Vale

Maddie is the creative engine behind USJ’s digital presence to produce compelling content, design eye-catching visuals, and help shape the voice of USJ across platforms. She leads the strategy and day-to-day execution of the University’s social media presence, while also serving as a hands-on producer of photography, video, and graphic content for marketing and communications initiatives.

Stacey Dresner

Stacey is responsible for the primary writing for Outlook magazine, USJ news articles, website content and web stories, press releases, media advisories, and recruitment collateral. She also serves as editor and proofreader for most communications, ensuring accuracy and consistency of style. Stacey works with the media to garner news coverage of USJ events and programs.
