The Office of Institutional Effectiveness (OIE) supports the University’s mission, core values and strategic plan by overseeing processes associated with assessment; accreditation; institutional compliance; institutional research; and collection, analysis, and reporting of information and data.

Responsibilities of the Office of Institutional Effectiveness include:

  • AccreditationManaging the institutional review process for NECHE and providing oversight for the accreditation process for programs.
  • Assessment:  Overseeing the process for measuring the effectiveness and quality of academic programs, co-curricular programs and university units.
  • Academic Program Review:  Managing the academic program review process as outlined in the Faculty Handbook.
  • Surveys:  Managing the administration of surveys and analysis of survey data to inform decision-making and program improvement.
  • Institutional Research:  Collecting, communicating and analyzing data in support of institutional decision-making and strategic planning.
  • Teaching and Learning CenterCollaborating and consulting with faculty on all areas of effective teaching and scholarship.
