Office of Institutional Effectiveness
The Office of Institutional Effectiveness (OIE) supports the University’s mission, core values and strategic plan by overseeing processes associated with assessment; accreditation; institutional compliance; institutional research; and collection, analysis, and reporting of information and data.
Responsibilities
- Accreditation: Managing the institutional review process for NECHE and providing oversight for the accreditation process for programs.
- Assessment: Overseeing the process for measuring the effectiveness and quality of academic programs, co-curricular programs and university units.
- Academic Program Review: Managing the academic program review process as outlined in the Faculty Handbook.
- Surveys: Managing the administration of surveys and analysis of survey data to inform decision-making and program improvement.
- Institutional Research: Collecting, communicating and analyzing data in support of institutional decision-making and strategic planning.
- Teaching and Learning Center: Collaborating and consulting with faculty on all areas of effective teaching and scholarship.
Data and Reporting
OIE collects and analyzes data about student experiences and outcomes. The following dashboards show data about student enrollment, completions, demographics, and more over time.
