Depending on your needs, tutorials will last up to one hour.
We can book two appointments at a time per class. After one of your appointments is held, you are able to book the next appointment for that class.
No. We work with students at all stages of the writing process, from initial brainstorming to final draft. It is a good idea to bring to the appointment assignment sheets, source material, your notes, and all of your drafts. You may bring your laptop if you choose: we are Wi-Fi capable.
Our professional tutors hold bachelor’s or master’s degrees in areas such as Nursing, English, Education, Counseling, Psychology and Composition Studies. Our undergraduate peer tutors have been recommended by faculty to provide content tutoring and to lead study tables.

Yes. We ask that you cancel at least 24 hours in advance so we can schedule another student in the slot. Monday appointments should be canceled by 4 p.m. Friday.

Yes. During the fall and spring semesters, we are open on Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays until 8 p.m., and Fridays until 6 p.m. Please call ahead to check intersession and summer evening hours.
