As a USJ Accounting major, you will start your path to success with highly specialized Accounting courses and related classes in Management, Economics, Finances, and more.

USJ’s B.S. in Accounting will fully prepare you for a career as a certified public accountant CPA.

  • The comprehensive curriculum allows you to complete the required 36 credits in Accounting at the undergraduate level.
  • Upon completion of the degree, you will have satisfied the educational requirements necessary for the exam to obtain the CPA certificate in the state of Connecticut.

Our Accounting students have interned and have been hired by some of the top-rated firms that are also located nearby in downtown Hartford including Travelers Insurance, The Hartford Group, PwC, Aetna, Cigna,Ernst and Young, Blum Shapiro, The Phoenix, United Technologies, IBM, the State of Connecticut, and more. Potential careers: accountant, financial analyst, consultant, manager, real estate appraiser, tax attorney, and more.
