Program Curriculum

Earn your certificate in just four courses (12 Credits)

  1. ACCT 201: Principles of Accounting I
  2. ACCT 205: Managerial Accounting
  3. Any two other ACCT courses (provided pre-requisites have been met)

The following restrictions apply:

  1. Accounting majors are not allowed to earn the Accounting Certificate
  2. Any course already taken for use in satisfying a USJ major will not be counted toward the Accounting Certificate
  3. In the event that a course has already been taken in satisfying a USJ major, the substitution of another ACCT course with the Department Chair approval will be accepted towards the Accounting Certificate
  4. The following MGMT courses may be considered for application towards the Accounting Certificate
    • MGMT 305: Financial Management
    • MGMT 306: Investment Management
  5. ACCT 485: Internship is specifically excluded from application towards the Accounting Certificate
