Special Education – Advanced Teaching, M.A.

If you are a licensed teacher, receive a cross-endorsement in Special Education

The M.A. in Special Education – Advanced Teaching is a program for licensed teachers in Connecticut that aligns with the State Department of Education’s requirements for a cross-endorsement as a Special Education teacher (K-12). Students are admitted for fall, spring, and summer start dates with rolling admissions.

Students who want to receive a cross-endorsement but do not want to complete an M.A. may enroll in a non-degree granting, graduate, credit-bearing program.

This program is offered on and off-campus.
