Autism and Neurodiverse Learners Graduate Certificate (Online)
Gain proficiency to work with students with autism spectrum disorder
Students complete a combination of Autism and Behavioral Studies and Special Education five-course sequence to qualify for the certificate.
Candidates may choose this certificate program to gain proficiency in applied educational concepts, principles, and practices to work with students who have autism spectrum disorder and their families. Practicum experience, field studies, and observation at Connecticut public schools and the Gengras Center (a state-approved special education facility and model lab school affiliated with the University of Saint Joseph) are part of the curriculum.
This program is fully online, synchronous.
