Early Childhood Education/Special Education, M.A.
If you are a licensed teacher, receive a cross-endorsement in Early Childhood/Special Education
The M.A. in Early Childhood/Special Education is a 30-credit program for licensed teachers in Connecticut that aligns with the State Department of Education’s requirements for a cross-endorsement as an Early Childhood/ Special Education teacher (PreK-grade 3). Students are admitted for fall, spring, and summer start dates with rolling admissions.
Students who want to receive a cross-endorsement but do not want to complete an M.A. may enroll in a non-degree granting, graduate, credit-bearing program.
Degree Program Designed for Working Professionals
The Early Childhood/Special Education M.A. program is designed with the working professional in mind. Courses are offered around the state of Connecticut in off-campus locations, typically begin at or after 4 p.m., and include the option to complete the program on a full- or part-time basis.
