Become a Special Education teacher, grades K-12 for students with unique learning needs.
The Special Education M.A. program is designed with the working professional in mind. Courses are offered on-campus and off-campus locations around the state of Connecticut, typically begin at or after 4 p.m., and include the option to complete the program on a full or part-time basis.
The School of Education benefits from two USJ affiliated schools, the Gengras Center, an on-campus school for students with significant disabilities, and the School for Young Children, an early childhood school nearby, offer students pre-professional opportunities in working with teachers, children, and families.
