USJ’s B.A. in Engineering Science provides students with a solid STEM curriculum and strong liberal arts foundation in addition to the engineering courses to pursue a career in engineering. The program combines rigorous coursework and hands-on learning through project classes in engineering labs using state-of-the-art equipment and software. The program also offers the students valuable internship experiences that bridge classroom learning with real-world applications. Additionally, students can tailor their degree by choosing from optional program tracks including business management, ethics, and a graduate school track.

Career Opportunities for Engineers 

Engineers are in high demand in today’s dynamic and technology-driven world. According to the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics, the median annual wage for engineering occupations is $91,010 with nearly 140,000 new jobs projected through the year 2026. 

With a bachelor of arts degree in engineering science, you are prepared for careers across the engineering, scientific, and technology sectors. This is a broad degree in engineering, synthesizing significant coursework from mechanical, electrical and computer engineering. This major will prepare students for direct employment in engineering, including careers in manufacturing engineering, systems engineering, quality engineering, and many others.
