3 + 3 Pharm.D. Program
Choose your pathway to earn admission to USJ’s Pharmacy Program (Pharm. D.)
USJ has four programs that can seamlessly lead you to a career in Pharmacy. Choose between a Health Science, Biology, Chemistry, or Biochemistry major to complete the 3 + 3 to Pharm.D. where you earn a bachelor’s degree and Pharm.D. in 6 years.
The Pharmacy track is open to high school graduates who meet admission requirements specific to the program and then meet the yearly benchmarks through their junior year. Students who meet all the benchmarks and pass an in-person interview are then guaranteed a seat in the USJ Pharmacy program beginning the August after their 6th semester.
The Pharmacy program has a three-year distinctive and innovative modified-block curriculum with a proven record of success; its format will increase your ability to master the material, while also providing an experiential education that prepares graduates for a career as a vital member of the healthcare team in settings such as hospitals, clinics, long-term care facilities, and community pharmacies. A Pharm.D. also prepares graduates for careers in clinical research, medical sales, pharmacology, product/process development, and many other career paths.
