Accreditation Status: National, Regional, State in Place

The University of Saint Joseph School of Pharmacy and Physician Assistant Studies’ Doctor of Pharmacy program is accredited through 2030 by the Accreditation Council for Pharmacy Education, 190 S. LaSalle Street, Suite 2850, Chicago, IL 60603, 312/664-3375; FAX 312/664-4652, web site www.acpe-accredit.org. 

The University of Saint Joseph is fully accredited by the New England Association of Schools and Colleges (NEASC). 

The School of Pharmacy and Physician Assistant Studies and the Doctor of Pharmacy Program are fully accredited by the State of Connecticut. 

Pharmacy Program Quality Indicators: June 2025

On-time Graduation Rates (Class of 2025): 77.7%

For the class which graduated in May 2025, 77.7% of the entering cohort graduated on time. All but two students who did not graduate on time remain with the program, extending their term of study for various reasons.

First-time NAPLEX Passing Rate (Class of 2025): 82.1%

Of the 2025 graduates who have taken the NAPLEX, 82.1% passed on their first attempt.
National NAPLEX Pass Rates 2023-2025

Student Retention Rates (as of June 2025): 96.4%

Of the 84 students who entered with the classes of 2025, 2026, and 2027, only three have withdrawn from the program.

Match Rate: 80.9%

Of the 21 USJ graduates who participated in the match, 17 matched to residencies in 2025.

In 2025, 10 out of the 29 class of 2025 graduates are in residency programs.
