To secure your place at the University of Saint Joseph, submit your enrollment form and deposit today! There is a $500 non-refundable deposit for resident students ($300 tuition deposit + $200 housing deposit) and a $300 non-refundable deposit for commuter students.

Apply for need-based financial aid and scholarships

If you are considering applying for need-based financial aid, and have not already submitted your FAFSA, there is still time!

The 2018-2019 Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) is available at The University of Saint Joseph’s priority ling date is March 1, 2018 (FAFSA School Code: 00140900).

The Mercy Values Scholarship, ranging from $1,000 - $10,000 per academic year, will be awarded to a select number of full-time, incoming undergraduate students who embody the Core Values of USJ. Complete the application to be considered for the Mercy Values Scholarship.

Students who visit the University of Saint Joseph will earn a $1,000 USJ Campus Visit Scholarship!

Submit Forms and Information

Submit your final, official high school or college transcripts, as well as any Advanced Placement exam scores, to the Office of Admissions as soon as possible.

If you plan to reside on-campus, please complete your Housing Application (available in March 2018). 

Complete the required health forms and health insurance waiver (if applicable). Detailed information about the health forms and insurance information will be coming soon.

Financial Planning for the Degree

Notification of your tuition bill for the fall 2018 semester will be sent to your USJ email address in early July.


To ensure your financial aid will be applied to your bill, complete any outstanding financial aid documents. More information will be forthcoming from Student Financial Services regarding financing and payment plan options.   • Week of Welcome will be held from Wednesday, Aug. 22 through Sunday, Aug. 26, 2018. All new students, both resident and commuter, should plan to attend. 

  • Fall 2018 classes will begin on Monday, Aug. 28, 2018.
