Oral History Project
In June 2021, the University of Saint Joseph’s Alumni Office has collaborated with Publishing Concepts, Inc. (PCI) on a 12-month Oral History Project. As we enter the 90th Anniversary Year, we undertook this effort to collect stories from Saint Joe’s Alumni about your time on campus.
Every graduate has a story and we want to hear yours! With over 13,000 alumni, it would take many years to meet with each of you individually and this is why we have embarked on this project with PCI!
What is a Saint Joe’s Story? Well anything! Did a faculty member have a profound impact on your life? Did you meet you best friend here? Can you trace your career path back to a defining moment at Saint Joe’s? Were you on campus during a historical moment? Or are you a USJ legacy? It is up to you what you would like to share!
With our limited resources, we’d never be able to tackle a project like this. By partnering with PCI, we’re able to access their trained staff of real, live human beings who are excited to listen to what you have to share. PCI will also help collect and assemble the stories into the Saint Joe’s Stories book that we can share with all alumni. Please note, we have only shared your contact information with PCI in conjunction with this project. We have NOT sold your contact information or otherwise used it for outside marketing purposes.
