USJ IN 2024

Dear Friends,

As I write this message, we are enjoying this season’s first snowfall, a reminder that we will soon welcome a brand-new year. But as we look ahead, we continue to celebrate 2023-2024, a year replete with exciting accomplishments. This report provides me with the opportunity to thank you, our benefactors, for your generous support. Over the past year, your generosity allowed USJ to:

• Meet Connecticut’s growing workforce needs through the creation of a B.A. in Engineering Science and a B.A. in Environmental Science, and to renovate spaces in McDonough Hall to house these programs;

• Provide need- and merit-based aid to nearly 99% of the student body;

• Add an Interprofessional Education Lab to McDonough Hall, furthering USJ’s innovation in preparing students for today’s careers in health care; and

• Support USJ’s well-proven, evidence-based pedagogy, resulting in 100% pass rates by our Physician Assistant graduates and traditional and ASD Nursing graduates on their licensure exams—on their first try!

These successes would not be possible without USJ supporters like you. With your ongoing philanthropic investment, we will continue to shine —and grow—as the small University with big outcomes.
