Aaron Burton, Pharm.D., BCPS, joined the University of Saint Joseph after serving in the field of Pharmacy as a staff pharmacist, clinical specialist in internal medicine, assistant director of Pharmacy, and Pharmacy Site manager. Before joining USJ, he assumed the role of director of Pharmacy at Waterbury Hospital and held adjunct faculty positions at several universities. In addition to his work in the classroom and in the field, Burton regularly participates in pharmacist organizations. He currently holds a board certification in Pharmacotherapy and is an active member of the American Society of Health-System Pharmacists (ASHP). Through ASHP, he has served on several national committees dedicated to developing both pharmacist preceptor skills and innovative pharmacy student practice experiences. His areas of interest include administration, internal medicine, and underrepresented patient populations.
