Dr. Peters’ courses look at ways that religious traditions such as Catholicism offer resources for students to critically engage with political, economic, and medical institutions in the US. He is the author of several articles, book chapters, edited volumes, as well as the book Called to be Saints: John Hugo, the Catholic Worker, and a Theology of Radical Christianity. His current research is focused on the life and work of Gordon Zahn.
