Dr. Peters’ courses look at ways that religious traditions such as Catholicism offer resources for students to critically engage with political, economic, and medical institutions in the US. He is the author of several articles, book chapters, and edited volumes. He has also written two books: Called to be Saints: John Hugo, the Catholic Worker, and a Theology of Radical Christianity (Marquette University Press, 2016) and Catholic Pacifist: The Long and Lonely Quest of Gordon Zahn (Catholic University of America Press, 2025).
