About
Prior to joining USJ, Dr. LaSelle founded and served as the executive clinical director of a community mental health practice in Connecticut. Her worked is guided from years in child welfare as a social worker and clinical consultant for the Department of Children and Families, and various roles in community mental health and hospital social work.

Research
Dr. LaSelle has focused her research on intersections of race, gender, and social class which influence and impact outcomes for children and families involved with the child welfare system. Additional research interests include efficacy in play therapy and school social work clinical interventions on vulnerable youth and families.
