Isaac Gottesman is Associate Professor and Chair of the Department of Education. He is also Vice President of the Connecticut chapter of the American Association of Colleges of Teacher Education (AACTE-CT). He completed his Ph.D. in Social and Cultural Foundations of Education at the University of Washington. A historian of education, he is the author of The Critical Turn in Education: From Marxist Critique to Poststructuralist Feminism to Critical Theories of Race (Routledge, 2016).
