About

Karen M. Myrick, DNP, earned her Doctor of Nursing Practice from the University of Connecticut. Prior to joining USJ, she was a tenured associate professor of Nursing in the School of Medicine at Quinnipiac University in Hamden. In addition to more than 18 years in Advanced Nursing Practice, she has a Post-Doctoral Fellowship in Methods and fellowships in Leadership for Academic Nursing Programs and Interprofessional Education. In 2020, she was named an Academy Fellow by the American Academy of Nursing, and in 2021 she was awarded a research grant from the National Association of Orthopaedic Nurses (NAON).
