About

Latoya Hinds, DSW, LCSW, a University of Saint Joseph (USJ) alumna, joins the Department of Social Work & Equitable Community Practice as an Assistant Professor. Dr. Hinds received her Doctor of Social Work from Southern Connecticut State University, Master of Social Work from the University of Connecticut, and Bachelor of Social Work from USJ.
She has over fourteen years of clinical social work experience to include community mental health, crisis intervention with adolescence and adults, maternal mental health care, and individual and family therapy with a focus on trauma informed care.
