Enthusiastically welcomed (in July, 2015) to the University of Saint Joseph as Dean of the School of Health and Natural Sciences, now the School of Arts, Sciences, Business, and Education, throughout his impressive academic career in mathematics, Boules had a hand in ushering thousands of students through the rigorous requirements of their math classes.
Born and raised in Alexandria, Egypt, Boules earned his undergraduate degree in Electrical Engineering and a master’s in Mathematics from the prestigious Alexandria University before emigrating to America to obtain his Ph.D. at The Catholic University of America (Washington, DC). He then joined Towson University (Towson, Md.), ultimately as chairperson in the department of Mathematics for a dozen years. He has published numerous papers in leading international journals, presented research at conferences worldwide, and co-authored a well-reputed book about electromagnetic signals.
