Tamara Malm, Pharm.D., MPH, BCPS joined the University of Saint Joseph in 2015. She obtained her Doctor of Pharmacy and Master of Public Health simultaneously at the University of Kentucky, then went on to complete a first-year pharmacy residency at Vidant Medical Center in Greenville, North Carolina, and a second-year Health System Pharmacy Administration residency at Yale New Haven Hospital in New Haven, Connecticut. She established clinical ambulatory care pharmacy services at Yale New Haven Hospital immediately after residency, seeing patients for diabetes, hypertension, hyperlipidemia, COPD, asthma, smoking cessation, latent TB, and anticoagulation. She now practices at Yale Health Plan, establishing similar ambulatory care pharmacy services. Her major pharmacy interests include substance use disorders, naloxone prescribing, and complex anticoagulation scenarios. She is an active member of the American College of Clinical Pharmacy (ACCP) and has served as the Chair of the Clinical Admin PRN, as well as held several leadership positions with the Connecticut Society of Health System Pharmacy (CSHP).
