Honoring Coach Jim Calhoun’s Basketball Legacy
From student scholarships and academic support to improvements to our facilities, The Calhoun Legacy Fund will expand our capacity to welcome and retain talented students from a broad range of socio-economic backgrounds and provide them with the tools necessary to succeed in USJ’s challenging academic programs.
The Calhoun Legacy Fund will enable USJ to continue Coach Calhoun’s transformative work in the lives of students.

Meeting him in person, playing for him means the world to me. Coach doesn’t just care about us as basketball players. He’ll ask ‘How are your grades? How’s your family doing?’ That caring influences the way we carry ourselves on and off the court. His confidence in us means when we face a big moment, it doesn’t feel so big because he believes in us.
