Assistant Professor of Nursing Heather Mangino MSN, RN, CNE gave a guest lecture on October 13, 2021, to Yale’s US Social Justice Course for their health professional students. Her talk, entitled, “Past, Present, and Future: Improving Accessibility in Health Care Education” was delivered to graduate Physician Assistant and Nursing students.
“I enjoyed sharing my passions for disability justice and accessibility in health care education with the health professional students at Yale. I am thankful for the opportunity, which was made possible through the power of professional connections that can be created through Twitter and other social media platforms,” stated Mangino.
