Dr. Kaydian Reid, Associate Professor of Public Health, had her Op-ed published in the Hartford Courant. Her piece, “COVID-19: Limelight on Existing and Pervasive Health Disparities in Connecticut” highlights the factors contributing to why COVID-19 cases and associated deaths disproportionately impact people of color.
Dr. Reid joined the USJ faculty in 2019 and is a public health practitioner and scholar with expertise in evidence-based public health practice and research. She is also the director of the Master in Public Health program. This online graduate degree program teaches students the science and art of preventing disease and promoting health through organized community effort.
